Terms/Shipping

All animals will be shipped UPS overnight Monday through Wednesday. Shipping dates will be arranged at the time of purchase. When the delivery occurs, there must be an adult there to sign for the dragon on the first attempt. We also need to be contacted either by phone or email within two hours of delivery. If there is no one home at the time of initial delivery, the live arrival guarantee is void. 

Shipping costs range from 25-55 dollars depending on location in relation to www.DistinctiveDragons.com . If multiple dragons are purchased, then the cost of shipping could increase but you will still save money on shipping costs by buying multiple dragons. Cold Packs, Heat packs, and Boxing materials are all included in the fore mentioned price. Tracking numbers will be emailed only at Buyers request. We always reserved the right to delay shipment due to weather issues.

Live Arrival and Guarantee

Our animals are guaranteed for up to 10 days after delivery provided the first delivery attempt is successful and the animal has been properly quarantined.  Failure to adhere to any of the for mentioned guidelines will render your guarantee void.  If you are not satisfied with the animal you receive, please email us as soon as possible to raise your concerns.  Keep in mind that hatchlings can take up to two weeks to become acclimated with their new surroundings.  During this time, handling should be kept to a minimum. 

Handling

Most dragons will be shipped through UPS.  We do our best to package the dragons appropriately based on weather conditions, which includes the use of Styrofoam lined boxes as well as heat and cold packs when necessary.  Our packages will be marked "Perishable" and appropriately sized for the animal being shipped. 

Payment Information

All animals must be paid for in advance.  We accept instant money transfers through PayPal sent to k_koestler@msn.com.  We do not accept Echecks from PayPal for any reason.  We will hold an animal up to 24 hours without a deposit.
